Research and Quality Improvement Forum

Introduction

The UK Association of Forensic Nurses and Paramedics is committed to promoting, disseminating and contributing to research in the field of forensic healthcare so that the best available evidence can be used in the pursuit of improving care for patients and improving the outcomes within the criminal justice system, alongside understanding how as practitioners we can be the best we can be.

There are many reasons we would want to undertake research, including a desire to understand in more detail a particular problem we have encountered in our practice, a need to demonstrate commitment to our speciality, career advancement, and of course a desire to contribute new knowledge.

To become involved with the UK Association of Forensic Nurses and Paramedics Research and Quality Improvement Forum contact Professor Vanessa Webb, it does not require a UK Association of Forensic Nurses and Paramedics membership, although it is recommended and will be necessary to access both the online forum and the restricted Research and Quality and Improvement Forum member’s page. If you are not a member, join the UK Association of Forensic Nurses and Paramedics today for £30.
